GOLF LESSONS & LEARNING CENTER
Our Learning Center features personalized instruction and utilizes our private teaching area. Being able to to work on your game with our Pro in a one-on-one situation, away from the distractions of the driving range helps you to focus and get the most out of your lesson. From long irons to bunker play and short game work, our Learning Center will give you the type of private and personalized instruction you are looking for. Kettle Hills prides itself on bringing the game of golf to countless new players every year.
INSTRUCTOR:
Frank Donadio, USGTF Certified Teaching Professional
Bio: Born and raised near New Haven Connecticut. Learned golf in early teens as a caddy in a suburban country club. Received college degrees in Zoology and Microbiology. Served three years in the U.S. Army and then worked in the food industry. Since turning pro 13 years ago, Frank has taught at golf ranges in New Jersey and is currently teaching in the Milwaukee Area. He is also an accredited club maker and represents many custom club lines.
Philosophy: I believe that golf is the sport for a lifetime. Fitness and diet can make it easier to learn and enjoy golf; but it is still only a game and a good mental approach can determine much of a player’s success or failure. I believe conditioning awareness can help you with your golf game, so I recommend consulting golf fitness-related websites and publications such as Golf Fitness Magazine for information on building flexibility and strength to help your golf game. I enjoy teaching fundamentals, which can be easily reviewed on the practice range and then applied on the course. I use a simple swing approach for beginners and try to relate the golf swing to other activities the starting golfer enjoys.
LADIES' CLINICS:
These will be held on Thursdays from 5-6pm in three week increments: June 10, 17 and 24 (putting, chipping, pitching); July 1, 8 and August 12 (irons, woods, course management); August 19, 26 and September 2 (putting, irons, woods). Also, a "Back to Basics" clinic will be held on Sunday, May 2. Signup is limited for all clinics. Please contact the pro shop for more information. Additional clinics will be scheduled based on demand.
MEN'S CLINICS:
Held on Tuesdays from 5-6pm.
Dates: June 22, July 6, August 10 and August 31.
PARENT–JUNIOR LESSONS:
These are designed to increase the comfort level of both the parent and the junior. Please call for appointment.
ONE-HOUR JUNIOR CLINICS:
Will be held on Sunday afternoons at 3pm. Dates are May 16, June 13, July 18 and August 29. Maximum of 10 juniors per session. Click here to learn more about the KH Junior Golf Academy.
SENIOR CLINICS:
Frank will be on the range before the Monday Senior League from 6:30 am to 9 am. Plan ahead and get a lesson or grab some friends and do a refresher clinic. Call the pro shop at 262-628-0200 to sign up.
PRIVATE LESSONS:
Will work on putting, short game, full swing or any aspect of the game you choose. Lessons are 45 minute sessions.

This year Frank will be bringing both his launch monitor and his lie/loft machine. He will be setting up on the range and the public can use them. He will set up on selected weekend mornings and before all big outings, or can be set up by appointment. He will also have demo clubs available to compare with your current set.
